Asif Zardari calls meeting of PPP Punjab MPAs

PPP Co-Chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari summoned meeting of party’s parliamentary party in Lahore today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A delegation of the PPP lawmakers in Punjab Assembly, led by its parliamentary party leader Syed Hassan Murtaza, will meet Asif Zardari.
The meeting is expected to take place at 3:00 pm at Bilawal House in Lahore.
Office-bearers of PPP Punjab and Lahore will also hold talks with Asif Zardari.
It may be mentioned here that the former president had landed in Lahore yesterday and held important talks with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, laying their focus on PTI chief Imran Khan’s announcement to dissolve Punjab and KP assemblies.
Asif Zardari later went to Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain’s residence and also held talks with him on the issue.
