Actress Maryam Noor appeared in Tabish Hashmi’s show Hasna Mana Hai where she spilled the beans about her marriage proposal. She told the host that her husband is a commercial pilot now but before that, he was a flight instructor at a flying school. Maryam was very keen on flying back then and went to the school to learn flying and that is where they met. 

She also said that they both used to know each other for over seven years. She added that she had taken many flights with her now husband as the pilot. 

Maryam recalled how her future husband proposed to her while doing a risky move on a flight. Maryam said yes, but her husband assumed that she was scared and upset and said that he had joked about the proposal to lighten the mood. Maryam subsequently stated that she had consented in earnest when he informed her that the proposal was, in fact, a serious one.
