Nawaz Sharif mulls over low-cost energy plan for poor: Khurram Dastgir

Federal Minister for Energy (Power Division), Engr. Khurram Dastgir Khan has said Mian Nawaz Sharif has directed him to make a low-cost plan for those who consume up to 300 units of electricity, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He was talking to the media after meeting with the former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in London on Monday.
He said that the purpose of the project is to provide relief to the poor segment of society. Khurram Dastgir had also given a briefing to Nawaz Sharif regarding renewable energy projects for the country.
“I have requested to Nawaz Sharif come to Pakistan as soon as possible, and put the country on the path of development.”
To a question regarding the dissolution of the Punjab assembly, Khurram Dastgir said it is likely that the Punjab Assembly would complete its tenure.
