First Lady attends passing out parade at Bakhtawar Cadet College for Girls
First Lady Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari Friday attended the fifth passing out parade of Bakhtawar Cadet College for Girls, highlighting the role of education, discipline and leadership in empowering young women.
Addressing the ceremony, the First Lady said Bakhtawar Cadet College was playing a vital role in empowering girls by providing quality education along with character building and leadership training. She urged the students to adopt discipline, respect and perseverance in their academic and professional lives.
During her visit, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari inaugurated a newly constructed gymnasium and swimming pool at the college. She also formally inaugurated the “Art and Science Exhibition 2025–26,” showcasing the creative and scientific work of the cadets.
The First Lady distributed college crests and prizes among outstanding cadets. The event featured a march past, physical training displays, gymnastics and a karate show, which were appreciated by the guests.
Speaking on the occasion, she said the college was currently providing quality education to 423 female students from different parts of the country, adding that empowering young women was the guarantee of a bright future for Pakistan.
