Imamuddin Khoso appointed new vice chancellor of Bhat Shah Sufism University

Imamuddin Khoso has been appointed as the new Vice Chancellor of Bhat Shah Sufism University on the orders of Sindh Chief Minister, officials announced Friday.

The Secretary of Universities, Sindh, issued an official notification regarding the appointment, which also directed the withdrawal of additional charge from Vice Chancellor Arbela Bhutto, who had been holding the post temporarily.

Arbela Bhutto had continued in the role after an extension, reportedly influenced by powerful connections.

The appointment of Imamuddin Khoso has been widely welcomed, with members of civil society expressing happiness and optimism over the new leadership at the university.
