Four members of the same family were killed as dilapidated roof of a house caved in at Chunian, district Kasur on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Those who perished were the husband and wife and their two daughters, namely Javed, Fatima, Khadija and Manahil.

The incident took place at city’s Billu Ram Chowk.

On receiving the information, Rescue 1122 personnel reached the spot and pulled out the bodies from the debris besides shifting them to the THQ hospital.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar expressed condolences over the death of four members of a family due to the roof collapse in Chunian. In a statement issued in Lahore, Usman Buzdar extended sympathies to the bereaved family and also sought a report from the deputy commissioner Kasur about the incident.
