Two schoolchildren died while eight others were injured as a result of a collision between a school van and a truck amid dense fog near Tehsil Khairpur Tamewali in Bahawalpur district early Friday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The injured schoolchildren were rushed to the Victoria Hospital for emergency treatment, but they were then shifted to main Radiology Department as the CT Scan machine at the Emergency Ward was out of order.

One of the injured students was shifted to the ventilator.
