Pak-Saudi naval drills conclude with spectacular display in Karachi

The Pakistan Navy and Royal Saudi Naval Forces’ Special Operations Teams successfully concluded their joint maritime exercise AFFAA AL SAHEL in Karachi, 24NewsHD TV reported on Wednesday.

The final phase of the exercise witnessed a high-intensity tactical demonstration, observed by Commander Coast Rear Admiral Faisal Amin alongside senior naval officials from both nations.

The joint drills encompassed a range of specialised combat operations, including RPG and machine gun firing, close-quarters combat, practical rappelling, hostage rescue, Visit Board Search and Seizure (VBSS), Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) drills, mission planning, and area clearance techniques.

The exercise aimed to enhance interoperability, tactical coordination, and combat readiness between the two naval forces, ensuring a robust response to evolving maritime security challenges.

Pak-Saudi naval cooperation through AFFAA AL SAHEL reinforces regional stability and strengthens bilateral defence ties, marking another milestone in strategic military collaboration.
