Xiaomi to launch 15 Series at Mobile World Congress in March

Leading smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has officially announced the launch of its highly anticipated 15 series.

According to Gadgets 360, the series will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona on March 2.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra, the flagship model of the series, is set to debut in China later this month before its global release. It will be available in three color options and is expected to feature the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset along with Leica camera technology.

A recent post on the social media platform X confirmed that both Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be introduced at MWC.

According to leaks from the Russian website Mobiltelefon, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will feature four camera sensors, developed in collaboration with Leica. The device will come with a flat display, curved edges, and a hole-punch design, ensuring an immersive viewing experience with ultra-thin bezels.

The Chinese version of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to support a 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired and 80W wireless charging capabilities. The device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite SE processor and will feature a 2K quad-core display.

In terms of performance, the phone will come with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The camera setup is set to be a major highlight, with a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP29 sensor offering 4.3X optical zoom technology, alongside three additional 50-megapixel cameras.

With its cutting-edge specifications, Xiaomi’s 15 Ultra is poised to be a game-changer in the smartphone market. More details are expected to emerge as the launch date approaches.
