Are you Shah Rukh Khan? SC judge mocks man for marrying four women
A hilarious situation was created during the hearing of an appeal filed by a convict in a murder case in the Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday when a judge, after learning that the deceased’s father had four wives, asked him whether he was Shah Rukh Khan that he was able to marry four women, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During the hearing of the appeal filed by Muhammad Azad, the deceased’s father said he did not think the woman appearing in the court via a video link and who claimed to be the mother of his late son was his ex-wife.
The deceased’s mother, on the other hand, said that she wanted to forgive the murderer for the sake of the Almighty Allah.
Justice Hashim Kakar directed that a settlement deed be presented in the court.
He asked the woman what special thing did she notice in the deceased’s father that she decided to marry him?
Counsel for the appellant said that earlier the man had said he had two wives. “And now he says he has four.”
He then prayed to the court to commute the death sentence awarded to his client to life imprisonment.
The next hearing of the case will be held at Lahore Registry.
The court adjourned the case’s hearing for an indefinite time period.
