Earlier, Maryam Nawaz along with her husband Captain (retd) Safdar reached the residence of Maulana Fazlur Rehman from Murree and had lunch there.
The PML-N Vice-President also attended a meeting there which was chaired by the PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
The PDM is staging the protest demonstration s it wants the foreign funding case against the PTI, which has been pending for the past seven years, to be decided by the ECP without any further delay.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari is not participating in the PDM protest as he has prior political engagements in Sindh. Rivals were of the view that his absence from the protest does not augur well for the strength and unity of the opposition coalition.
