Drizzle adds to Lahore chill as Balochistan braces for heavy rain

Scattered light rain was reported in Lahore and Jhelum as a westerly wave is affecting northwestern Balochistan and likely to also grip upper parts of the country on Wednesday with snowfall on hilltops, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
National Highways and Motorway Authorities (NH&MA) closed the motorway from Faizpur to Darkhana, Thokar Niaz Baig to Balkasar, M-4 Khanewal to Faisalabad, M-5 Sher Shah to Zahir Pir and also M-11 due to dense fog.

The weather office predicted snowfall in Dir, Chitral and Waziristan and Gallyat and surrounding hilltops.
Rain/snow is expected in northwestern Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, upper Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Dense Fog is likely to prevail in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh.
