The ruling party, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, has decided to issue a show cause notice to its senator for opposing government proposals during the passage of mini-budget in the upper house, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to details, the PTI will serve a show cause notice on its Senator Zeeshan Khanzada who opposed the PTI recommendations about mini-budget in the upper house.
Sources have informed that PTI is also contemplating to take back the membership of the senate standing committee on trade from the rebel senator.
The PTI is facing a kind of disenchantment among its parliamentarians who are lashing out at their own government for its wrong policies.
A few days ago, Defence Minister Pervez Khattak put on a defiant posture in the face of Prime Minister Imran Khan for condoning the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. He assailed the government for putting a ban on new gas connection in the KP particularly in Peshawar.
A day after Khattak, another PTI MNA Noor Alam became even more embittered when he declared on the floor of the National Assembly (in which PM Imran was also sitting in the front row): “Members who occupy the first three rows are the main culprits of the chaos in the country, so put their names on ECL and Pakistan will survive.”
