China starts donkey farming in Pakistan

China is starting donkey farming in Pakistan and in this regard a slaughterhouse for donkeys has been set up in Gwadar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

This was stated by the Ministry of Commerce in a meeting of Senate’s Standing Committee on Commerce, presided over by Zeeshan Khanzada on Thursday. 

Donkeys are not being exported from Pakistan to China and even donkey meat is not being exported from Pakistan to China, officials of the Ministry of Commerce said.

However, Senator Salim Mandviwala told the meeting that according to a survey, Pakistan is exporting donkeys to China.

How are the export data of donkeys coming in Pakistan survey? Senator Salim Mandviwala questioned.

On the other hand, the officials of ministry said that in the Pakistan survey, not export but production data of donkeys is reported.
