Court extends interim bail of Ducky Bhai’s wife in gambling app case
A Lahore court on Monday extended the interim bail of Aroob Jatoi, wife of popular YouTuber Ducky Bhai, in a high-profile gambling app promotion case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Additional Sessions Judge Mansoor Ahmed Qureshi granted the extension until February 4.
Aroob Jatoi appeared in court, where the judge noted that the first information report (FIR) in the case lists all accused jointly. The court stated that proceedings and arguments should be conducted together for all defendants before a collective decision is reached.
Following this, the judge approved the extension of her interim bail until the next scheduled hearing.
The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) registered the case against Ducky Bhai, Aroob Jatoi, and others over allegations of promoting illegal online gambling applications on social media platforms, which authorities claim caused financial harm to the public.
In August 2025, NCCIA officials took Ducky Bhai into custody at Lahore Airport in connection with the charges.
Earlier court proceedings saw multiple extensions of interim bail for Aroob Jatoi, with the sessions court previously extending her bail in late 2025 and directing investigating officers to submit detailed reports.
Meanwhile, Ducky Bhai’s own bail has seen mixed outcomes, his post-arrest bail plea was initially denied by the lower court, though he was later granted bail by the Lahore High Court on sureties, allowing his temporary release pending further hearings.
In January 2026, a session hearing noted that Ducky Bhai failed to appear in court due to illness, with the judge allowing his absence and summoning him for future proceedings, including the formal framing of charges.
The case remains ongoing as investigations and legal reviews continue.
