Meghan Markle shares cute videos of kids' pool days and zoo trips

Meghan Markle has given fans a rare and carefully curated glimpse into life with her children, sharing a series of warm, intimate videos that show Archie and Lilibet enjoying pool time, zoo visits and family moments in the California sun.

The Duchess of Sussex posted the clips on Instagram, capturing four-year-old Lilibet splashing enthusiastically in a swimming pool while being watched over by what appears to be Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland.

Another tender moment shows the back of six-year-old Archie’s distinctive red hair as he gently feeds leaves to a critically endangered black rhino during a zoo visit.

Followers were also treated to a brief but striking clip of Meghan and Prince Harry dancing closely together, barefoot in a lush green field. Harry wore tracksuit bottoms and a t-shirt, while Meghan held onto his shoulders, dressed in a white top and cream mini-shorts.

The collection of videos highlighted relaxed family time, including scenes of pastel chalk scattered around, children’s drawings, and colorful scribbles spread across paper.

Set to the song "Carefree Days", one clip lingered on a shopping list surrounded by groceries, decorated with small drawings and ending with the words "Yay! You did it!" written in bold capital letters.

In the final Instagram story, Meghan appeared wearing sunglasses as she fed large green lettuce leaves to a giraffe at The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens in Palm Desert, California.

The posts come shortly after reports that Meghan and Harry are already planning a future public role for their two children, a revelation said to have stunned some of Harry’s longtime friends and members of the royal family.

Hints of this direction emerged before Christmas when the couple announced changes to their charitable organization. A statement explained: "After five beautiful years, the Archewell Foundation is becoming Archewell Philanthropies. This charitable entity allows the couple and their children to expand upon their global philanthropic endeavours as a family."

One of Harry’s old friends reacted with disbelief, telling the Daily Mail: "I am genuinely confused. Harry and Meghan were always so insistent that their children would be able to make their own way in life without the pressure of expectations or titles. I can't believe Harry is behind this. It must be Meghan's influence."

Speculation intensified on the same day as the Archewell announcement, when Meghan shared a family photograph alongside a Christmas message. The image offered the clearest look yet at Archie and Lilibet. Archie was seen hugging his father, while Meghan bent down to hold Lilibet’s hands as they stood together on a small wooden bridge in a sunlit forest.

Around the same time, the couple released a Christmas card and an end-of-year video showcasing their charitable work, which included footage of their children helping bake cookies ahead of Thanksgiving with a local charity.

This growing visibility comes despite Harry and Meghan’s long-standing campaign against the dangers of social media, and their recent support for Australia’s ban on social media for children. Even so, their own children have appeared more frequently online since Meghan began promoting her lifestyle brand, As Ever.

In December, Meghan shared another family image with the caption "Happy Holidays! From our family to yours". In the photo, Harry held Archie’s head protectively as they smiled at one another, while Meghan crouched beside Lilibet, resting her forehead against her daughter’s and holding both her hands.

The image was one of several carefully staged glimpses of the young prince and princess released in recent months.

In November, reports suggested Prince Harry was uneasy about the increased social media exposure. A source told Page Six that Harry was unhappy with Meghan’s recent online activity, saying: "He's very aware of her parading him around. He doesn't love the social media displays."

Ahead of Halloween last year, Meghan shared another montage showing her children running through a field as they watched their father carve a pumpkin. The video, set to "California Dreaming", included moments of the couple holding hands while Archie explored farm produce, and glimpses of the back of Lilibet’s long auburn hair as she examined fruit.

In that footage, Meghan wore black knee-high boots, leggings and a black jacket, while Harry opted for jeans, a hoodie and a baseball cap. Other scenes showed Meghan gently patting Archie’s head and guiding Lilibet on a farm trailer.

She captioned the post simply with the words "Happy Sunday", accompanied by a pumpkin and heart emoji.

Together, the posts have fueled growing speculation that the Sussexes are slowly reshaping their children’s relationship with the public, one carefully edited moment at a time.
