PM urges parliamentarians to make people follow SOPs
Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf Core Committee met Friday with Prime Minister Imran Khan in the chair and took stock of political situation and organisational affairs.
According to sources, a team briefed the core committee about legal aspects of Supreme Court verdict on the presidential reference against Justice Qazi Faez Isa.
In his address, PM Imran Khan called upon parliamentarians to watch over safety steps in their areas and make people abide by SOPs to avert contracting Covid-19.
He said only protective measures can save lives from the deadly virus. He stressed the need for feeling a sense of responsibility to fend off pandemic.
Planning Minister Asad Umer shed light on safety steps the government took to stem the spread of coronavirus.
The body praised the strategy of federal government under the leadership of Prime Minister Irman Khan to fight deadly virus.
International comity of nations also praised the Pakistani government for taking proper protective steps to stem the spread of coronavirus.
