World Bank okays 442m for Pakistan’s water schemes

The World Bank has approved a loan of $442 million for Pakistan that will be spent on improving the water supply and sewerage system in Punjab, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
The World Bank will complete water supply and sewerage projects in more than 16 districts of Punjab.
The World Bank will provide clean water to six million people in rural districts of the province.
