Papers’ leakage continues as education authorities helpless before cheating mafia in Sindh

June 19, 2022 11:10 AM

The cheating mafia in Kashmore district adopted a unique strategy to help Class-XII students solve the question paper of English by providing them helping material through samosas and chickpeas vendors, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Besides, the question paper of English also leaked before the commencement of the exam, and as usual, it was shared widely across the WhatsApp groups.

Some of the students, having access to cell phones at an examination centre in Tangwani city, Kashmore, were busy solving the question paper with the help of social media groups, whereas, the others were solving the question paper after purchasing the helping material from samosas and chickpeas vendors.

Similarly, in Larkana, Class-XII question paper of English leaked at least 20 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

The cheating mafia provided the cheating material to the students through WhatsApp groups amid lack of stringent measures by the Larkana education board to prevent cheating at examination centres.

It is to be noted here that the cheating mafia has become so strong in the Sindh province that it has made the leakage of question papers before the commencement of exams a matter of trivial importance.

The future of hardworking students is at risk due to the frequent incidents of papers’ leakage before the commencement of exams, for all their hard work to gain excellence in exams through competition is jeopardised.

The education authorities in Sindh are required to take some effective and the strongest possible measures to eradicate the scourge of cheating so that the hard work of diligent students is not jeopardised.
