The Chair of the Punjab Assembly (PA) session in Aiwan-e-Iqbal on Sunday asked some key officers of the assembly secretariat to report to him to run the business of the House.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, Chairman of the Panel Tahir Khalil Sindhu MPA chaired the budget session which was started 2 hours and 6 minutes behind its scheduled time on Sunday.

The channel report said the Panel Chairman Sindhu issued orders to the heads of the Legislation Section, Reporting Section, State Department and Security Department to report him immediately in the Aiwan-e-Iqbal session.

It is pertinent to mention here that PA Speaker Chaudhry Parvez Elahi is also presiding over a parallel session in the Punjab Assembly building and has termed the session in Aiwan-e-Iqbal illegal and unconstitutional.
