Hamza Ali Abbasi addresses rumors about quitting showbiz
Pakistan’s superstar Hamza Ali Abbasi in a podcast with an anchor person Mansoor Ali Khan clarified his statement of leaving showbiz industry.
The host initiated the discussion by asking him about bidding farewell to the entertainment industry in 2019.
The actor denied it by saying that he never left showbiz; in fact, he was on a break.
He further presented his stance by saying that he had posted a long video in which he explained clearly that he has reached some conclusion regarding The Creator (GOD) and the day of judgement, and he wants to further explore it, for which he needed a break.
Hamza Ali Abbasi said that the audience misinterpreted his statement and thought that he was leaving industry forever, whereas it was clearly mentioned that he wasn’t.
Mansoor Ali Khan asked him why it was necessary to take a break, to which he replied that he had gone to study about his religion from Javed Ahmed Ghamidi, a well-known Islamic scholar and philosopher.
The actor further showed his displeasure by saying that in our society, Islam and acting are considered antithetical, and even after he said that he was not leaving showbiz, people made headlines the very next day without watching the complete video.
