NAB starts investigation against Azam Swati in Rs40b scam

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) summoned Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader in the Rs40 revenue scam in Kohistan on June 23, 2025, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
As per a notice, Azam Swati was directed to appear in NAB office of Peshawar on June 23, 2025, at 11 am.
According to the details, a firm deposited the amount in an account operated by Azam Swati in 2024. 
It is necessary to mention here that NAB KP has already started an investigation into the scam.
The notice also states that in case of non-cooperation, NAB reserves the right to take legal action.
