NHA conducts open auction of toll plazas

On the directives of Federal Minister for Communications Aleem Khan the National Highway Authority (NHA) is conducting an open auction of its toll plazas, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday. 

Federal Minister for Communications visited the convention center Islamabad to review the auction process. This auction will take place in the presence of media representatives and all participating bidders, ensuring complete transparency in the process. 

Tthe open auction of toll plazas was held on June 19, from 10:00am to 5pm at the Convention Centre in Islamabad. A large number of toll operators will participate in the public auction process. 

Chairman NHA Shehryar Sultan supervised the public auction process which advertisements for the open auction had already been published in various sections of the media. A total of 74 toll plazas under the jurisdiction of the National Highway Authority across the country will be auctioned through this open bidding process.
