Islamabad district courts to observe summer vacation from August 1 to 31

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued a notification announcing summer vacations for the district judiciary in the federal capital from August 1 to August 31, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday.

The notification was issued by the Registrar of the Islamabad High Court with the approval of Chief Justice Sarfraz Dogar.

According to the notification, all District and Sessions Courts in Islamabad will observe summer holidays during the month of August.

However, the court administration has been directed to ensure that urgent matters and long-pending cases continue to receive attention during the vacation period.

The notification further instructed the relevant judicial authorities to make special arrangements for the hearing and disposal of emergency cases as well as old pending litigation to prevent unnecessary delays in the administration of justice.
