LHC refers PTI’s Elahi and four others nomination paper case to ECP chief

Lahore High Court while hearing a case regarding abstaining nomination papers of PTI leader Ch Pervez Elahi and four other candidates in PP32 Gujrat by elections, has referred the case to Election Commission of Pakistan to give the decision on the application as per law, reported 24NewHD TV channel.

LHC Justice Tariq Saleem announced this verdict on the plea of Qaisra Elahi, wife of PTI leader Pervez Elahi on Tuesday.

LHC directed ECP chief to decide the case after listening the concerned parties.

Advocated Amir Saeed Raan appeared in the court on the behalf of the applicants while Advocate General Punjab Khalid Ishaq appeared on behalf of Punjab Government. Imran Arif Ranjha appeared from ECP side.
