Farieha Altaf and Mishi Khan call out Danish Taimoor’s polygamy statement
Senior Pakistani actress and model Farieha Altaf has severely assailed actor Danish Taimoor for his questionable comment about polygamy and declared his words completely disrespectful to his super-talented wife Ayeza Khan. Another popular star Mishi Khan also expressed disappointment over his words and urged that he should talk about another good topic instead of a men's four marriages on TV.
In case the readers are not aware, Danish Taimoor has lately invited his wife Ayeza Khan during a Ramadan transmission where he deliberately offered a controversial statement about polygamy which has sparked a debate on all over social media. A few have approved his words but the majority have criticized him for the same and also labeled him as Red Flag.
Danish during the show casually said that men have been granted permission for four marriages by God and they are not doing it, that is another story.
He added: “I say this even in front of my wife that I am granted with the permission of four marriages by GOD and nobody can take it from me, but I am not doing this because I love and respect my wife and I want to spend my life ‘fihal’ (right now) with her.”
It was definitely his repetition of the statement and particularly the use of the word 'flihal' which shocked everyone and caused a discussion.
Popular star Farieha Altaf took to her social media handle and condemned his words, calling his statement an arrogant promotion of polygamy, also expressing dismay over the message he actually conveyed being an influential person on TV.
Mishi Khan also voiced her opinion and urged there are more topics to discuss on Television four marriages of man is not the only one.
