According to the channel reports, in Tirah Valley of Khyber District, armed terrorists surrounded the house of a security official who was on leave.
However, local residents united and repelled the Khawarij's attack, ensuring the safety of the soldier. The people of the valley firmly declared, "We have nothing to do with terrorists. Let us live in peace—we will not hand over our soldier."
Earlier, in Karak, locals joined security forces to successfully push back another terrorist attack, while in Bannu, militants targeted the Khojri Police Checkpost during the night between March 14 and 15.
However, residents stood alongside the police and forced the attackers to flee. Security sources confirmed, "As soon as the attack occurred, the entire village came out in support of the police and drove the militants away."
Similarly, in Lakki Marwat, during Isha prayer, a local resident stationed outside Abbas Khatak Mosque for security duty encountered militants.
The worshippers inside the mosque immediately joined him, engaging in an exchange of fire and forcing the terrorists to retreat.
Following this heroic act, District Police Officer (DPO) Lakki Marwat ordered full support for local people involved in defending their area.
The security sources said , security forces have already intensified their crackdown against Khawarij elements in Khyper Pakhtunkhwa.
On the other hand, defense analysts view the growing unity between the people and security forces as a major defeat for the militants.
The defence analysts emphasised, "These brave Pakistanis resisting terrorism are the real heroes, standing shoulder to shoulder with law enforcement agencies."
They said resistance of the resilient KP people sends a clear message—terrorism will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Their fight for peace and unity is a beacon of hope for a secure future.
