Passengers suffer as SereneAir flight stuck in Jeddah for 4th consecutive day

Passengers, who had to travel from Jeddah to Islamabad via a SereneAir flight, remained stuck in the Saudi city for the fourth consecutive day as the airline has changed its departure timings four times, forcing the passengers to stay either at expensive hotels or to spend time on the roads, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday. 

Initially, the airline’s flight was scheduled to leave for Islamabad at 9:45 PM on March 16. But later the timing was changed and then it was announced that now it would take off at 5:20 on March 18.

Then the passengers were told that now the flight would depart at 10:15 PM on March 18. 

Again the departure time was changed, and it was said that the flight would now leave for Islamabad at 2:50 on March 19. 

And now the passengers have been told that the flight will take off today in the afternoon.  

Frustrated at repeated delays, the passengers have requested the prime minister and the aviation minister to look into the matter.
