Rejected lover shoots dead girl in Sahiwal

As it is said love is a poison, sweet and intoxicating, but also deadly and destructive, the same happened in Sahiwal on Wednesday where a young man namely Imran shot dead a girl who refused to marry him, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to first information report (FIR), the incident took place in Mohallah Noor Park of Sahiwal when 19-year-old girl Alisha reached his cousin’s house in rickshaw and suddenly the accused who was waiting outside the house opened fire on her, killing her on the spot.

The FIR further stated that accused Imran wanted to marry Alisha but the girl and her mother were not willing.

Soon after the incident, accused Imran escaped from the scene.

After receiving the report, Ghala Mandi Police reached the site and shifted the dead body of the girl to a mortuary.

Ghala Mandi police after registering a case against accused Imran started search operation to arrest the culprit.

Newly-married couple killed in Chakwal

Love-marriage proved a crime when an unidentified accused shot dead a newly-married couple in Chakwal on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to details, both husband and wife were living near Kewal area of Chakwal, though they originally belonged to Rawalpindi.

Sources in police revealed that the couple was murdered due to their ‘love marriage’.

Soon after receiving the report of the incident, Saddar Police Station SHO Ahmed Nawaz along with his team reached the spot and shifted the dead bodies to local hospital for post-mortem.

Police after registering a case started investigation.
