The Sindh High Court (SHC) has granted bail to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and former Secretary Petroleum Arshad Mirza against the surety bonds of Rs 0.5 million each in illegal recruitment case.
The SHC was hearing the reference filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) that accused Shahid Khaqan Abbasi of misuse of power and illegal recruitments.
The court has also restrained the NAB from arresting Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Arshad Mirza.
Talking to 24NewsHD TV channel, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that everyone has the right to become a prime minister but a cricketer has not proved to be a good prime minister.
