Pakistani batter Asif Ali has become a father as he has been blessed with a baby girl.

Asif announced on Twitter, the birth of his newborn daughter. He penned: “Mere Ghar Ayee Aik Nanhi Pari (A little fairy came to my house). Welcome to the world, my dear!"

Fellow cricketers Abid Ali and Shadab Khan congratulated the 30-year-old power-hitter as he welcomed the newborn.

Abid Ali penned: “Mashallah mashallah congratulations bhai”.

Shadab Khan wrote: “Congratulations @AasifAli45 and bhabi on the birth of their daughter. Allah ne rahmat se nawaza hai. Allah meri bhateeji ko sehat, tandrusti aur khushiyoon bari lambi zindagi de.”

It is pertinent to note that Asif's first daughter Noor Fatima, who was only 18-months old, died in May 2019 of cancer.
