Four gypsies die in Neelum Valley truck plunge

At least four people were killed and eight others were injured when a truck carrying gypsies fell into a deep gorge in Serikhawaja area of Neelum Valley, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

As per Rescue 1122, the condition of the two injured persons was stated to be critical, whereas, 50 goats also perished in the accident. Two gypsies died on the spot while the other two succumbed to their injuries in the hospital.

The Rescue 1122 teams had rushed to the spot following the accident and rescued the injured.

They, with the help of locals, had also shifted the injured to a nearby hospital.

According to the eyewitnesses, the accident occurred due to overloading and speeding.
