Old man dies of police torture in Lahore

A case was registered against four policemen of Shadbagh police Station in Lahore, following the death of a 70-year-old citizen who was allegedly killed in police custody, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
According to the First Information Report, police took away 70-year-old citizen Umar Farooq from his convenience store on Thursday night. The old man died allegedly due to the torture of police in custody.
A case has been registered against four police officials including Imran and Asad.
According to the FIR, the accused cops left the dead body of the old man at Khawaja Farid Hospital and fled from there.
