Rescue 1122 officer dies in Narowal road accident

A District Emergency Officer (DEO) of Rescue 1122 Engineer Naeem Ahmad embraced martyrdom while performing his official duty in Narowal on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV.

According to details, Naeem Ahmad was crossing a road when a speedy car hit him badly after which he died on the spot.

Sources further revealed that Engineer Naeem Ahmad was supervising an operation to control the stubble fire started by farmers in the fields near Shakkargarh.

Further investigation was under way.

Earlier in April 2025, two young boys riding a motorcycle lost their lives on the spot when another speeding motorcycle collided with them on the Narowal-Shakkargarh Road.

The deceased were later identified as Naeem, 18, and Samad, 25. According to sources, the tragic accident was caused by overspeeding.
