Over 5.6m children vaccinated as anti-polio drive enters 2nd day
The second day of the special polio eradication campaign is underway in 79 specific districts of Pakistan on Tuesday and more than 5.683 million children have so far been vaccinated, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the National Emergency Operation Center, the campaign will continue from May 18 to 24, during which about 19 million children are being vaccinated against polio.
More than 163,000 polio workers are engaged in the mission of going door to door to protect children from disabilities.
