FIA arrests suspect in Hyderabad for alleged fake Bahrain visa scam

The Federal Investigation Agency Crime Circle Hyderabad has registered a case and arrested a suspect for allegedly issuing a fake Bahrain visa and defrauding a citizen, officials said.

According to FIA officials, the case was registered after an inquiry initiated on the complaint of Zohaib Sheikh.

Investigators said the accused allegedly extorted Rs700,000 from the complainant by promising a visa and overseas job. During the investigation, officials recovered documentary evidence, including financial transaction records and bounced checks.

FIA officials said action against fraudulent agents exploiting the public would continue without exception.
