Pakistan, Russia hold 16th consultative meeting on strategic stability in Moscow

Pakistan and Russia held the 16th meeting of their consultative group on strategic stability in Moscow, discussing global security, arms control, disarmament and non-proliferation, the Foreign Office said.

The meeting was co-chaired by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov and Pakistan’s Additional Secretary Tahir Hussain Andrabi.

According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, both sides held detailed discussions on issues related to international security and reaffirmed their commitment to continued cooperation and coordination at multilateral forums.

The two countries also agreed to convene the 17th meeting of the Russia-Pakistan Consultative Group in Islamabad next year.
