Sardar Zafar Khan Baloch elected unopposed as MPA from PP-83 Khushab

Sardar Zafar Khan Baloch has been elected unopposed as a member of the Punjab Assembly (MPA) from constituency PP-83 Noorpur Thal after other candidates withdrew their nomination papers.

According to election officials, Guldad Khan Baghwar and Sardar Raza Khan Baloch withdrew their papers on the last date for withdrawal, leaving Zafar Khan Baloch as the sole candidate in the contest.

The seat had fallen vacant following the death of former MPA Ali Hussain Khan Baloch.

Zafar Khan Baloch is the younger brother of the late Ali Hussain Khan Baloch.
