4 terrorists of RAW-backed Sindh Revolution Army arrested: CTD chief

Karachi Counter Terrorism Department DIG Omar Shahid Hamid said four terrorists of Indian intelligence agency RAW-backed Sindh Revolution Army have been arrested in connection with a series of attacks on Sindh Rangers, reported 24NewsHDTV channel on Thursday.
These four “terrorists” of Sindh Revolution Army were involved in numerous attacks on Sindh Rangers in June and July this year.
DIG Omar Shahid Hayat was addressing a press conference in Karachi on Thursday.
The DIG said police have recovered hand grenades and pistols from the four accused members Sarang aka Suhail Mirani, Bashir Ahmed, Anis Ahmed and Khwand Baksh aka Slaim Sindhi of Sindh Revolution Army.
“These accused persons were involved in a hand grenade attack on Rangers mobile on June 10 at Kamran Chaurangi, and second attack on the same day at Chawki Manzil Malir in which two bystanders were injured. On June 19, these accused attacked Rangers mobile with a hand grenade located outside the Ehsaas Program centre in Liaquatabad in which one person lost his life,” Omar Shahid Hamid said.
Other incidents in which these accused terrorists were involved were: June 19 Ghotki attack on Rangers mobile in which one Rangers personnel and another citizen were injured while on July 8 at Bilawal Shah Noorani Sachal, they attacked a bakery with a hand grenade in which a retired inspector of Rangers Ashiq Ali embraced martyred.
DIG CTD said: “Police have been conducting investigation from the accused terrorists as more revelations are expected.”
It has been reported that DIG CTD said Sindh Revolution Army is being provided funds from RAW and its head is Ayed Asghar Ali aka Sajjad Shah.
