TikTok restored in Pakistan, PTA lifts ban after 4 months

Ban on the most popular social media app—TikTok has been lifted and restored all of it services in Pakistan after four months.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) on Friday lifted the ban on the assurance of the app administration to remove unethical material on it.

TikTokers (users of the app) have become happy with the government’s decision.

The PTA has lifted the ban on TikTok across the country and remained in contact with the administration of TikTok for removing unethical material on it.

On July 20, 2021, the government had imposed a ban on the app TikTok with a demand of removing and controlling the immoral content on the app from the administration.

As per the report of the channel, the TikTok administration has made a promise to the PTA to block accounts of users who upload illegal content.
