Detained for driving without licence: Ex-finance ministry official released in Japan 

A suspended official of the finance ministry who was arrested in Japan has been released, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.  

Rida Noor was arrested on charges of driving without a licence in Japan and according to sources, she was set free due to the embassy's efforts.

She will be sent to Pakistan in a few days, the insiders added. After the arrest, the official was suspended by the Establishment Division.
