US economist praises Pakistan’s response to Covid-19

Lawrence H. Summers, also known as Larry Summers, Charles W. Eliot Professor and President Emeritus at Harvard, on Sunday’ praised Pakistan’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Larry, who has also served as secretary of the Treasury for President Clinton and Director of the NEC for President Barack Obama, took to Twitter to write: “Told @FareedZakaria on GPS @CNN, America’s failure on COVID-19 is almost unimaginable. Heck, if the U.S. had handled the pandemic as well as Pakistan, we would have saved in neighbourhood of $10 trillion.”
