Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Narcotics Control Attaullah Tarar on Wednesday said Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Elahi saved his politics by abusing Gujranwala to make Gujrat a division.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Deputy Secretary General Attaullah Tarar addressed a press conference during his visit to Wazirabad.
He said that Gakhar was also exploited by Punjab CM Elahi and now the locals will take extra time to go into the district. He announced raising the matter in the Board of Revenue and will also go to Supreme Court if needed.
Tarar said it is the talk of the town that Parvez Elahi and Moonis Elahi have purchased land near the river where the real estate business will be established by building a district complex.
He termed Gujarat an unnatural division and said it is the incompetence of the Chatta brothers that they could not save the Gujranwala division.
He said they will not allow Moonis Elahi to extend the culture of illegal occupations in Lahore. He said whenever Parvez Elahi has come to power, abused the people in the matter of lands.
