Ex-official of Lahore police turns out to be ringleader of robber gang

A former Lahore police official turned out to be the ringleader of a robbers’ gang, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.  

According to police, former police official Tauqir, along with his other accomplices, was used to commit crimes against citizens.

The police came to know about the accused's gang during the investigation.

People from the accused Tauqir's gang have also raided people's houses by posing as police officials. 

A few days ago, the accused Tauqir tortured a landlord in the Kot Lakhpat area for demanding rent.

A case has been registered against the accused Tauqir and his accomplices in Kot Lakhpat. 

The main accused Tauqir has not yet been arrested by the police and the matter is being investigated.
