Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, Moeed clarified that one or two passengers managed to cross the airline COVID-19 checking and reached the foreign destination on fake testing documents.

The UK government had already said that it was not the UK government’s stance as the news only appeared in the media.

Moeed Yusuf said that flights are being operational as per usual and Pakistan government has been trying that Covid-19 patients will not go outside the country from Pakistan. “Few airlines have imposed conditions of COVID-19 testing, he added.

Moeed Yusuf sharing the statistics said Pakistan has brought back stranded Pakistani nationals from70 countries.

“Airlines in some countries have allowed that after the test you can travel,” he added.
