ECP issues schedule of LG elections in Balochisan

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has released the schedule for the second phase of local government elections in Balochistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday. 

As per sources, these local government elections in Balochistan will be held on specific seats.

Mangochar Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Hanif Noorzai has been appointed as the returning officer for Union Councils 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 of the Municipal Committee Khaliq Abad Mangochar and Sub-division of Kalat District. 

Candidates will have to submit their nomination forms by November 7, 8, and 9, 2022 to Election Commission of Pakistan. However, the nomination forms will be examined and scrutinized by ECP on November 11, 12, and 13.

As per details, candidates would be able to withdraw their nomination forms on November 24. Whereas, elections will be held on December 14, 2022 on specific seats. 

Further information can be obtained from the office of Assistant Commissioner/Returning Officer Muhammad Hanif Noozrai or Election Commissioner Office Kalat.
