The district administration imposed a smart lockdown in Y Block of Madina Town in Faisalabad on the instructions of the health department on Friday after 10 people tested positive for coronavirus in the locality. 

However, the district administration did not deploy police or health workers in the locality to keep healthy people away from the infected area or educate people about infectious disease. People were going in and coming out of the affected area without any check. 

The City41 news channel took up the issue with Cantonment Assistant Commissioner Umar Maqbool and finally, some policemen were deployed to curb the movement of people into the affected locality.
