Pakistan Muslim League (PML) Punjab Senior Vice-President Chaudhry Salim Baryaar held a meeting with Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Monday and exchanged views on the national political situation.

On this occasion, Firdous Ashiq Awan said that all political parties would have to work together to tackle the challenges facing the country in the prevailing circumstances. She said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was taking all his allies along.

Baryaar said that as an ally the Pakistan Muslim League supports every step of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) that is in the larger interest of the country and the nation and it wants the incumbent government to complete its five-year tenure.

Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was taking all parties along. Baryaar said that his party always fulfilled the duty as an ally and now the government should engage ally parties in consultation process.
