Popular Lollywood actress Meera Jee has been stuck in New York due to the Coronavirus lockdown.

She uploaded a video in which she appealed the Prime Minister Imran Khan to bring her back at home.

In the video message, Meera Jee said: “I came to New York with Humayun Saeed and other cast members for the shooting of a film. All of my colleagues have gone back safely to the country but I’m stuck in New York. I have no savings left and my survival is now getting difficult.”

She further added: “New York is turning into a graveyard every day thousands of people are dying.  Everybody has to die one day but I don’t want to die in any foreign country. Our Prime Minister has always supported the artiste community it is my humble request to the authority to arrange my return to the country. I want to die in my own country.”
