Tightening the screws around tax evaders, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Faisalabad office on Wednesday blacklisted two companies besides issuing a show-cause notice to the other for failing to pay sales tax totaling around Rs150 million, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The companies which were blacklisted were Urooj Textiles and AI Enterprises, which caused to the national exchequer the loss of Rs60 million and Rs50 million, respectively. 

The bank accounts of blacklisted firms were frozen and they would not be allowed to do any kind of business. 

Subhan Viewing, on the other hand, was issued a show-cause notice for evading tax totaling around Rs40 million.
